Photos From The Slopes
I believe below are the first photos showing us actually snowboarding and skiing in Whistler. It is not that we have been embarrassed of what we may look like in action, not at all, it was just that I am very protective of my beloved camera and the idea of getting it 2000 meters up a mountain in the snow terrified me.
On our last day, however, I put my camera in the backpack, added three of four pillows for protection and padding, and headed up the slopes with the guys. Going up my only thought was that no photo can really do justice to the beauty of this place… But before I get too lyrical here let me go straight to the few shots of the cool Paul, precise Joe, always entertaining Jamie, lightning fast Harvey and Ian, inventor of the advanced Backsliding technique. (A movie of that to follow soon.)

What cool photos, radical even, nice one!
So apparently I was the only one who really posed for the camera.. makes me look like I’m rapping at the camera or something haha.
3 or 4 pillows.. couldn’t possibly imagine where you managed to find all those ; )
in Joe’s room of course!
Great pics, mental. I couldn’t ever imagine me smiling on a pair of skis but life’s all about challenging yourself and respect to Harvey and Jamie for their fearless approach, must be an age thing!
Paul and Ian are looking cool too but where is the twirly whirly king?
I know there are some good pics of you Julian so post one - or I will.
I’m going to precisely ignore the pillow talk references but glad your camera made it home safely.
